Previously he has served in the positions of President & Vice President for a variety of technology and sport distribution companies. For the past ten years Dave has focused Prescient on strategic consulting for renewable energy start-ups and early stage companies providing strategic and tactical marketing services in support investment capital acquisition and product commercialization. Geri brings a unique background to Prescient, with over 15 years of experience in the fields of energy, resource economics, and global climate change serving both the public and private sectors. Previously she led the expansion of Maryland’s renewable energy program and establishment of the climate change program as the Director of the Maryland Energy Administration. She worked as an economist for the USDA Forest Service modeling carbon sequestration in the forest sector and developed a comprehensive model to project future stocks and flows of carbon in U.S. forest products, which is currently being used in the California Climate Action Registry Protocols. Geri has significant experience in siting power plants and renewable energy project implementation, as well as economic modeling for high-performance buildings. She is President of Sage Energy Consulting, which assists Fortune 1000 companies position for greenhouse gas regulations and take advantage of profitable renewable energy solutions and government subsidy programs. Geri has a Master of Science in Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
